Heather Ward CCE, CLE, CD, PD has been working with children and families since 1992.  She has a degree in Child Development and is trained and certified as a Childbirth Educator, Birth Doula, and Lactation Educator.  Heather has completed training as a Postpartum Doula and continues to take workshops, read studies and books on all topics she teaches.  She teaches babycare, breastfeeding and childbirth preparation courses and provides doula services through her company Birthlore.  Heather is passionate about birth, babies, new/expectant families, child development, and health (mind, body and spirit)!  She has also been a preschool teacher and director of an after school program.  Her wide range of experiences help give perspective and prepare others for everything from pregnancy to birth to child development.  She is happily married and has two wonderful daughters.
